THE CURANDERO'S MESA

The Mesa is a shamanic altar that is the keeper of traditional wisdom.  It comes to life in ritual and ceremony to become a resource of connection to a lineage of transformative energies, as well as a container for healing and addressing the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs of a community.

There are parts of us that are not able to heal or transform unless they are held within a container that is replete with sacred forms of support and nourishment.  

Not only will this weekend be a place of solace for the weary parts of the soul that need rest, it will be a place to learn and grow from traditional forms of wisdom that have been held and passed down for thousands of years.   

This weekend intensive is an opportunity to invite those parts of you home.   

 Shamanic apprenticeship has always been maintained and passed down through direct experience.  There are certain things that can only be conveyed through ceremonial language with its layered assortment of symbolic forms of communication.   A good ceremonial teaching involves all the senses, weaving them into a sacred crescendo that opens a window to view the truths of life more clearly and profoundly.
